The Longest Night

LONGEST NIGHT WORSHIP — Sunday, December 21st; 7pm
In this season, our days are getting shorter and on December 21st, we experience the shortest day and longest night of the year. This day is often held as a space of recognizing grief and sorrow that we might be experiencing through this season so full to the brim of joy and cheer. At 7pm on December 21st, we will be hosting a Longest Night service here at Whitney for those in our community to find a space of solace and comfort in the midst of what might be a hard season. 

This Blue Christmas Service we will be joined in celebrating with the following church communities: Southminster Presbyterian, Redeemer Lutheran, All Saints Episcopal, Immanuel Lutheran, Red Rock Christian Church.
